[There's a gift for Sigyn at her shrine, laying in an ornately carved steel box. Inside is a necklace with an intricately woven gold chain. The stone in the center is cut like a starburst, and it's black, but shines a galaxy of colors when looked at in the light. The craftsmanship is absolutely unparalleled and can only really have come from the dwarves in Svartalfheim.

[ she does love presents, her children know her so well. sigyn approaches when the place is empty, opens the box and peeks curiously inside before lifting the jewel with a smile that is all mischief. ]

Now, I wonder, who could have brought me such a pretty gift --

[Fenrir peeks out of the shadows- he totally hasn't been waiting for her to come see her shrine, not at all, what are you talking about?]

[He totally bathed. When he moves toward her, he actually looks almost neat for once, hair brushed back, clothing without its usual tatters and bloodstains.]

I've already seen Hel and Jormungand. They seem cheerful as ever.

[ if her children are not, then sigyn certainly is cheerful. something bright is sitting on her lips and she moves over to press her lips to his forehead. ]

Then you've met. What have they told you?

[So he's been ordered, so he'll do. He's here to bring a gift to Sigyn's shrine, to avoid being dismembered over and over again when he reaches level three healing. It seems like a fair trade, right?

Except that he can never be entirely respectful, especially not to one of the gods. So within an elaborate hurricane lamp, a blood-red pillar candle stands lit and protected against the breeze. Thick block letters have been carved into the candle and filled with white wax so that they'll stand out: they read, of course, PYRO.

He's given his gift and sent a message. She can respond if she likes; all that matters is that Fenrir knows about it and calls off his threat.]

[Fenrir's nose wrinkles when she kisses his forehead, but he doesn't pull away.]

-they- they said different things. Hel talked about Freyr, Jormungand spoke of the one who insulted you.

[And there's a weighted silence at that. He wants to know how Sigyn took it, or if she approves of Jormungand's approach.]

[ her smile is indulgent and sweet and it fades into soft disapproval as he mentions the one who insulted her. ]

He calls himself Pyro yet I prefer John. He spoke very unkindly to us all, the curse Freya had brought on the city inspired great anger and not only in him.

He acted like an ignorant fool but I would have Jormungand control his temper.

[ Sigyn is tall and her hair is gold and laced in flowers. she steps forward from the shadows, looks at the candle. she doesn't quite disapprove. ]

I would not have you hurting a Traveler for speaking out in a time of hurt. The curse had hurt them tremendously. He deserves another chance before any punishment is given to him. I will punish him, if the need arises.

No - no, that's not gonna help. [He laughs a little, almost nervous.] If you have to say anything, just make it that we came to an agreement.

And not much here can hurt me permanently. Nothing physical, anyway. [He keeps the barbs out his voice, but it's probably still obvious that he's talking about the mind games the gods have played with him.]
